Information for Parent Volunteers

Team Manager - most fun job in the world. Talk to the DI Coordinator for your school (see Contact Us).
School Coordinator - inform your school about DI. Send in news items, put up DI event notices, etc.
Appraiser (typically an experienced DI parent) - help out or judge at the Regional Tournament.
Organize or help with Instant Challenge Day - usually a Saturday morning in February. Setup, cleanup, determine schedules, judge the ICs.
Organize of help with the Mock Tournament - setup, cleanup, scheduling, judge an IC
Fundraising - we do some fundraising to give High School seniors who have been involved with DI a scholarship, and we give some money to teams that go to the DI Global Tournament to help offset expenses.
Help with the DI Dinner - which is either a pizza or potluck dinner for the DI families. Usually in April.
Order/distribute T-shirts, hats, pins. Just check prices, submit designs, pickup and distribute the items to the team coaches.
